Senior Accountant Jelicia Acevedo Alequin supports Alpha’s partners by providing clear, proactive guidance that helps them operate confidently and stay compliant. She works closely with partner administrators to clarify financial processes, product usage, and reporting requirements, translating complex details into practical, day-to-day guidance that aligns with GAAP standards.

In her role, Jelicia leads the month-end close process for her assigned partners, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Her responsibilities include preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and supporting controller reviews, as well as assisting with audit requests and documentation.

Jelicia enjoys taking complex financial data and turning it into clear, meaningful insights that help leaders understand what’s happening at both the operational and financial levels.

Prior to joining Alpha, Jelicia worked at CHRISTUS Health, Evoque DCS, and WWEX Group. With 10 years of experience, she has worked across a wide range of accounting functions, giving her a strong, practical understanding of how financial operations come together.
