Julie Bass Kaplan is a nationally recognized aesthetic nurse specialist, injector, and educator with over two decades of experience in cosmetic medicine. After beginning her career in the operating room, Julie shifted her focus entirely to aesthetics in 1999, co-founding Disappearing Act Laser & Skin Rejuvenation alongside her husband, Dr. Jory Kaplan.

She is the founder of JBK Aesthetics Training Academy, where she trains providers nationwide in advanced injection techniques, anatomy, and safety. As a national trainer for Galderma’s GAIN program, faculty speaker for P.A.L.E.T.T.E. Resources, and regional trainer for CosmoFrance, Julie is dedicated to elevating clinical standards and promoting evidence-based, natural outcomes.

Her passion lies in teaching safe, artistic injection practices that empower medical professionals to blend science, skill, and artistry in every treatment.
